THE MATERIAL
Hand-stretched washi paper.
Washi paper is stretched by hand over the bamboo-and-iron structure, leaving natural fibers and subtle irregularities visible. When illuminated, the paper gently diffuses the light and reduces the harder glare of an exposed bulb.
Each shade is handmade, so small differences in texture, tone and dimensions are part of the natural character of the material.

The same spherical form changes dramatically with scale. Choose a smaller diameter for focused areas and a larger size when the pendant needs to anchor an open room or taller ceiling.
Quick sizing tip: over a dining table, start around half the table's longest dimension. For an open room or taller ceiling, choosing the larger of two suitable sizes usually creates a more balanced, intentional proportion.

Which size should I choose?
For a dining table, start around half the table's longest dimension. Larger rooms and taller ceilings generally need more scale. If you are deciding between two suitable sizes, the larger option usually creates a stronger proportion.
How should I clean the washi paper?
Dust gently with a soft dry duster or clean microfiber cloth. Do not wet-clean, steam or spray the paper. Keep it away from excessive humidity and direct heat.
Can it be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes. The adjustable suspension works with standard, sloped and vaulted ceilings. If you need a longer drop, contact us with your ceiling height.
Can I order a plug-in version?
The fixture is hardwired by default. A plug-in cord can be prepared on request and is best suited to the smaller sizes.
Does it come with a bulb?
Yes. A 3000K warm-white bulb is included. For the warmest appearance through the washi paper, we recommend approximately 2700–3000K.

If you are not satisfied, you may request a return and refund within 30 days, provided the items remain brand new and unused.
