The Paper Is Part of the Light.
Kasa is not a solid opaque shade. The fibrous paper becomes warmer and more dimensional when illuminated, while the ribbing stays visible with the lamp switched off.

The 47.2-inch version does not use the bottom diffuser, keeping the oversized pyramid form visually cleaner when suspended high in large-volume spaces.

For brightness control, replace the included bulb with a compatible dimmable E26/E27 LED and use a compatible Triac wall dimmer. A 2700–3000K replacement LED preserves the warm washi-paper character.
Standard configuration is hardwired to a ceiling junction box. A plug-in cord adapter can also be requested for renters or rooms without a ceiling J-box. Professional installation is recommended for hardwired use.
Dust gently with a soft dry brush, feather duster or very soft microfiber cloth. Do not spray cleaner or water onto the paper. Kasa is intended for indoor dry locations and should not be installed over cooking surfaces or in humid bathrooms.

Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in texture and dimensions are normal, and washi paper ambers gently over time. Screen colors are approximate; hand-measured sizes may vary 1–2cm.
Before You Choose.
Which size should I choose?
Small Ø13.8" works well over compact islands, small tables and entry areas. Medium Ø15.7" is useful individually or as a pair / trio above longer islands. Large Ø19.7" is the most versatile single pendant for 4–6 seat dining and larger residential rooms. Extra Large Ø47.2" is a true architectural statement intended for double-height or other large-volume spaces.
Why does the XL not have a bottom diffuser?
Small, Medium and Large include a lower diffuser because they are normally viewed from closer residential distances. The 47.2-inch XL is generally suspended much higher, so the open bottom preserves the cleaner oversized silhouette without requiring the same lower diffuser.
Is the bulb included and can Kasa be dimmed?
Yes, a warm-white E26/E27 LED bulb is included. For dimming, replace it with a compatible dimmable E26/E27 LED and use a compatible Triac wall dimmer. A warm 2700–3000K replacement bulb works especially well with the washi-paper shade.
Can Kasa be installed in a bathroom or over a stove?
No. Kasa is IP20-rated and uses natural paper, so it should remain in indoor dry locations. Avoid bathrooms, sustained humidity, direct steam and installation above kitchen cooking surfaces.
