Is the wrinkled neck intentional?
Yes. The crinkled upper section is one of Zara's defining design details. It is intentionally more irregular than the ribbed lower body, and handmade examples will show small variations in the folds.
What kind of light does Zara provide?
Zara is designed primarily for soft ambient light. The included 3000K bulb is diffused through the Washi shade, creating a warm glow rather than concentrated task lighting.
How should I clean the textured Washi?
Use a soft dry feather duster or microfiber tool. Dust gently around the crinkled upper section rather than pressing or scrubbing the folds. Do not wet-clean, steam or spray cleaners onto the paper.
